Food, music, and people make up a culture. Music is one of the universal languages that can communicate with people of all ages and cultures.
Music resembles an all inclusive language of life. Fundamentally the sound is united through the congruity of different instruments. Our life would have been absolutely unfilled and different without music. It is something that each person appreciates. It is an extremely strong thing. Music assists with distressing, recuperating, and spurring.
“Without music, life will be a mistake” the statement of Friedrich Nietzsche, a German philosopher, simplified the significance of music in one’s life with such ease. Music supernaturally affects people. It’s the best type of magic.
One of the genres of music that has long been admired is folk music. It encompasses a nearly millennia-long tradition of secular and religious songwriting. Bengali music is composed with lyrics written in Bengali.
Types of bengali music comprises of-
Bauls: The Baulsare a gathering of spiritualist singers from the Bengal locale, who sang fundamentally in the seventeenth and eighteenth hundreds of years. Both Muslim Sufi thinkers and the Hindu tantric sect of the Kartabhajas are thought to have had a significant impact on them. Bauls traveled and sang in search of Moner Manush, or the inner being or Man of the Heart, and described “superfluous” religious distinctions.Considered to be the greatest of all bauls, Lalon Fakir, also known as Lalon Shah, lived in and around Kushtia in the 19th century.
Rabindra Sangeet: Rabindranath Tagore was a prolific composer who penned approximately 2,230 songs. His songs are referred to as rabindra sangeet, and the majority of them—poems or portions of novels, stories, or plays alike—were lyricized. His writing seamlessly blends with his songs. They ranged from his early dirge-like Brahmo devotional hymns to quasi-erotic compositions, all of which were influenced by the thumri style of Hindustani music. Needless to mention, rabindra sangeet constitutes a core part of the bengali culture.
